Terms and refunds

Last updated 27 October 2026. GoodWord Sites is a trade name of Baja AI LLC ("we", "us"). These terms cover our previews, the websites we sell, our care and hosting plans, and online stores.

Previews

• A preview is free. We build it from public information about your business, such as your Google listing and reviews.
• Every preview carries a banner saying who it was built for and that we are not affiliated with that business. Search engines are told not to list it.
• We take a preview down when you ask, and after 14 days in any case.

Buying your website

• The price is $395, paid once, unless we agree a different price with you in writing.
• Two rounds of changes before you buy are included. After launch, edits are part of the care plan.
• Extra work, such as more pages, a second language or a logo, is priced separately. We tell you the price before we start.

Care and hosting plans

• Care plan: $25 a month or $228 a year. It covers hosting, small edits when you ask, and adding your newest reviews every month.
• Hosting only: $10 a month. It keeps your site online, with no edits or review updates.
• Plans renew automatically until you cancel. To cancel, email [email protected]. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
• Your site needs a care or hosting plan to stay online. When your plan ends, your site goes offline.

Refunds

• Before launch: if you aren't happy for any reason before your site goes live, we refund everything you paid.
• First 30 days after launch: if something isn't right, tell us and we fix it at no charge. If we can't make it right, we refund the $395 and take the site offline.
• Yearly plans: if you cancel, we refund the full months you haven't used.
• Monthly plans: cancelling stops the next payment. We don't refund part of a month.

To ask for a refund, email [email protected]. Refunds go back to the card you paid with.

Your content

• When you send us photos, a logo or text, you confirm you have the right to use them. We use them only to build and run your site.
• Until you send your own photos, your site may use sample photos that we make ourselves.
• We quote real reviews from your public Google listing. We never write reviews or post reviews for you.

Online stores

• A store runs on your own Stripe account, under Stripe's terms. You are the seller, and you handle your own refunds, disputes and sales tax.
• We charge 1% of each sale, collected through Stripe. Stripe's own fees are separate.

Limits

We take reasonable care to keep your site online and working, but we can't promise it will never be down. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes and law

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we email current customers first. These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming.
